Would You Wear a Jumpsuit Like Selma’s?

Steve Granitz/WireImage

From Gwyneth Paltrow to Maggie Gyllenhaal, stars are working the red carpet in jumpsuits — with varying degress of success. Selma Blair popped up in a provocative, glammed up Marchesa jumpsuit for the premiere of Hellboy 2, looking so much more glamazon than ’70s disco queen! The wide-leg bottoms are just wide enough (without venturing into bell-bottom territory!), making the suit look elegant and comfortable. Minimal accessories — small earrings and a classic Chanel clutch — keep it from looking costume-y, and tasteful beading along the plunging neckline adds just a touch of sparkle. Would You Wear Tie-Dyed Jeans?

Ramey

Fergie’s talent for pulling off just about any kind of look makes her one of our favorite fashionistas. We dig her tough-girl concert style and love to see her heat up red carpet in sexy, refined gowns like this chic Calvin Klein. Never afraid to take a risk, she’s jumped on the light-wash denim trend and taken it for a tie-dye spin. It’s not our favorite Fergalicious moment, but we do like how she pairs the bold jeans with a tailored, classic button-down and pulls it all together with a bright belt to keep the rocker-chic look from crashing into Woodstock territory. Tell us: Would you wear tie-dyed jeans?

Would You Wear an Art Print Dress?

Scott Wintrow/Getty

We’ve had to brush up on art history to prep for this season’s painterly tops and dresses so that we can approach each piece with a curator’s eye. And since colorblocking, ethereal watercolors and abstract brush strokes are ruling the runways, our closet’s starting to look like a mini museum. As a fan of every art-inspired look, we’re digging this Chloe dress worn by actress Emily Mortimer. Framed by black tights and eye-catching purple booties, the dress is truly a work of art. Other stars loving the trend? Demi Moore, whose YSL paint-splattered shift is perfect for a sunny summer day. Tell us: Are you feeling this artsy trend? Would you wear a painterly dress? What do you like about the look — or hate about it?

Would You Wear an Orange Dress Like Chloe Sevigny?

Jeff Kravitz/Filmmagic

Wearing bright orange isn’t for the faint of heart, but we’re kind of feeling Chloe Sevigny’s bold frock. Not only is the full-skirted silhouette flattering, but the hue complements the Big Love star’s skin tone. Plus she smartly pairs it with a pale pink clutch and satin pumps that provide the perfect color contrast. As much as we like this look, we’re not so sure we’d be brave enough to don it. But we want to know what you think. Tell us: Would you wear a dress in this shocking shade?

Would You Wear Horizontal Stripes Like Cameron Diaz?

jackson Lee/Ahmad Elatab/Splash new online

For years it’s been touted as the number one rule for dressing slimmer: avoid horizontal stripes. But stars all over size-obsessed Hollywood have been sporting it recently on shirts, tees — and even full dresses. Since we love the look on the celebs like Cameron Diaz, Jessica Biel and America Ferrera, featured in our new Stars in Stripes gallery, we’re really considering adding it to our spring wardrobe with a sailor shirt or two. But we want to know what you think! Tell us: Would you wear horizontal stripes?

Would You Wear Knee-High Socks like Ashlee Simpson?

Tom Vickers-Chris Whittle/ Splash News Online

Shedding their school girl image, knee-high hosiery is getting a fresh update from some of Hollywood’s most stylish starlets. Ashlee Simpson keeps it sporty, pairing them with her low-top Converse sneakers. Jessica Alba playfully wears them in a contrasting color over a pair of black opaque tights. And Rihanna keeps it sexy in thigh-high pair that show just a hint of skin. We’re not completely sold on this trend, but we’d love to hear from you. Tell us: Would you wear this look?
