While all the stars — Gwyneth, Cate, Natalie — got seriously glam at Cannes, all eyes were on mom-to-be Angelina Jolie, who was beyond radiant on the red carpet. Whether promoting her voice-over role in Kung Fu Panda or her dramatic turn in the Clint Eastwood-directed Changeling, the expectant star turned out in one fabulous look after another. With all the stars making the rounds for N.Y.C. Fashion Week, the fashion flock is getting even more jaded than usual. But despite the dazzling gowns at Marchesa, all eyes were definitely on nine-months-pregnant (with twins!) Jennifer Lopez, looking as gorgeous as any of the models in her own silky teal Marchesa dress that highlighted off her growing belly. Sure, she looks fantastic, but how’s pregnancy really treating her? “I’m feeling good,” the almost-due singer tells PEOPLE of her decision to check out the new collection along with husband Marc Anthony. “I haven’t gone out a lot for the past few months”, she admits, “but Marchesa has been incredibly good to me. They are just amazing!” And while most moms-to-be stick to comfort wear, the always-glam Jennifer says sweats are not an option. “People make fun of me because when I do have them over to my house I do have a dress on,” she laughs. “I don’t like the way the sweats look with the extra weight. I like to feel good about myself even at home.” And while the singer won’t be able to wear any of Marchesa’s red carpet confections anytime soon, she does have her eye on a few special looks. But, Lopez admits “Right now the best thing I can do for myself, for my body is to keep resting which is not easy for me. I like keeping busy and it is very hard because if they say ‘be off your feet for four hours a day’, I’m like ‘oh, God!’ It’s hard.” If she looks this good at nine months, we can’t wait to see her back in action!

The mom-to-be is taking cues from other stylish pregnant stars and steering clear of maternity clothes. Jessica Alba stopped by TRL wearing this adorable off-the shoulder Gold Hawk dress with a chic jeweled top. The satin frock covered her expanding waistline, and showed off her fabulous legs and shoulders. It seems Christina Aguilera is already passing on her love of great shoes to her new baby boy Max Liron. The singer and her husband may have kept quiet on the sex of the baby but certainly kept themselves busying buying blue goodies. Prior to the birth, Christina had ordered two pairs of Robeez sneaker booties — the Athletic brown and teal booties and the the Trainer in Royal (both $2 — for her recent baby shower. Singer Lily Allen arrived at early this morning on a horse-drawn carriage to be greeted by the Harrod’s owner Mohamed Al Fayed and opened the famous sale in cheeky mode telling the eager crowds: “I have had a preview and there is not much left!” Dressed in a black sequined sleeveless dress by Jasmine di Milo and silver high heels, Allen toured the store, while giggling like a kid in a candy store. Some stops included the fine jewelry department where she posed wearing a diamond watch by Chopard and a necklace by Cartier. On what she will be wearing in 2008 she exclaimed: “Maternity clothes!” She also confessed that she hadn’t found out yet what hip and stylish moms-to-be wear, but she has declined offers to design her own maternity line. “I am not the right person. My demographic is young girls and I don’t think it would be suitable.” Allen also proved to be a girls’ girl, honing in on “jewelry and handbags and shoes.” Any tips for finding a bargain? She told PEOPLE “I am not good at finding bargains. I am good at finding expensive ones.” One thing she is avoiding is cigarettes — the newly pregnant singer declared that she “has given up smoking.”
