Two years ago Kate Moss took her supermodel style to the masses when she collaborated with British affordable chain Topshop. Good news for all the fashionistas couldn’t get enough of her high fashion styles with main street prices. Topshop has announced the extension of the Kate Moss for Topshop collection for another three years–plus the addition of shoes and lingerie. “The last two years have been an exciting experience, and Topshop has given me the perfect platform to develop my own collection, which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time. I am really looking forward to working with the Topshop team on our new collections and thank everybody who already owns a piece of Kate Moss for Topshop!” Kate said in a statement to the press. What’s better is that with the launch of the Topshop US e-commerce site in September and the much-anticipated New York flagsip store opening in March, Kate’s designs will be widely available on this side of the pond. Kate Moss Shares Her Style Secrets

Richard Young/Startraks

For the past two decades, supermodel Kate Moss’s laid-back look has made her a muse for some of fashion’s hottest designers, style tastemakers and artists — and she’s finally revealing her style secrets in an interview with The London Times. “When it comes to dressing,” she tells the paper, “I follow my feelings and just get dressed. For me, it’s not necessarily about trends or even interpreting catwalk looks.” But for those of us who don’t have her innate sense of style, she offers a little sage advice for how to always get it right. “Never look like you’ve tried too hard — or, rather, don’t try too hard!” she emphasizes. “Mismatching can add a much more personal touch to an outfit.” And when it comes to hair, she’s equally adventurous. “Be brave and try a new hairstyle,” says the model, who recently took her own advice, chopping off her long locks into a bob. “It can completely transform your look just for one night and inspire a new way of looking at your existing wardrobe.” And as the reigning queen of vintage cool she offers a little advice on buying secondhand. “When you buy a vintage or secondhand piece, don’t take it on face value — it can be altered in so many ways. I’ve lopped the hem off many a full-length gown and made necklines lower. It does help to have a genius dressmaker, otherwise just do it yourself.” Click here to check out all of Kate’s sartorial wisdom — and learn the story behind the 21st-birthday dress, given to her by former flame Johnny Depp, that she hopes to pass down to her daughter.

Kate Moss: From the Catwalk to the Louvre

Goff/INF

She’s long been a source of inspiration of some of fashion’s top designers, and a new art exhibit in the heart of Paris is setting out to examine Kate Moss’s status as a modern-day muse. France’s Musée des Arts Décoratifs has announced plans for an exhibition dedicated entirely to British supermodel. Just yards from the Mona Lisa’s famous perch in the Louvre, the display will showcase Moss’s 19 years in the industry. Museum Director Beatrice Salmon explains the choice, saying that the museum intends to “decode the phenomenon” the supermodel has become. “This is an occasion to ask a certain number of experts in image and communications to explain why and how [Kate has] become someone the whole world knows.” As for just how involved Moss herself will be in the project, the Museum’s press officer Marie Laure Moreau says that “Kate Moss has agreed to cooperate, to collaborate on the exhibit. The show will concentrate on her life, her career — and be a celebration of her 19 years.” But will Moss be there to kick off the launch of the show, which will run from November 26, 2009 to April 25, 2010? Moreau adds laughingly, “We certainly hope so!” Tell us: Would do you think of the national museum’s choice to create an exhibit based on Kate?–Reporting by Peter Mikelbank

New Faces to Join Kate Moss at Rimmel London

Big Pictures/Bauer-Griffin; Alpha /Landov; Focus Pictures/Pacific Coast News

Supermodel Kate Moss has been the face of Rimmel London since 2001 — a lifetime in the beauty biz — but it looks like the British cosmetic label is getting a bold new look, adding two new faces to their ad campaign this fall with auburn-tressed model and university student Lily Cole and London-born chanteuse Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Contrary to rumors, however, Rimmel’s reps tell PEOPLE, Moss is not being replaced, and will continue in her role as the main face of the brand. As part of her ongoing position, Moss will star in new commercials this fall, while the other two will be featured in their own spots. And while she won’t be working directly with Moss, Cole couldn’t be happier to get in front of Rimmel’s cameras. “It is a wonderful opportunity for me to represent an innovative, trend-setting brand like Rimmel London,” she says. “I am also very honored to have been chosen to work alongside such an iconic face as Kate Moss.” Tell us: What do you think of Rimmel’s decision to add more faces to their brand. Should they have kept Kate Moss as their one-and-only?
