Christina Aguilera Launches Her Inspired New Scent

Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage

For two hundred lucky fans at N.Y.C.’s Macy’s flagship yesterday, Christina Aguilera had a much-welcomed message: “Come on over!” To promote her new fragrance, “Inspire”, Christina signed perfume bottles and chatted with fans — some of whom had camped out since Sunday — in Macy’s jam-packed Beauty Arcade, as a soundtrack of her hits like “Lady Marmalade” and “Dirrrty” played in the background. Wearing a chic, skin-tight Roberto Cavalli dress and black patent YSL pumps, the singer — who arrived sans husband Jordan Bratman or eight-month-old son Max — signed more than two hundred bottles of the scent. And even if you missed your chance to get an autographed bottle of Christina’s new scent, you can still get Inspire-d at Macys.com. Tell us: Will you try out the singer’s fragrance?

Eva Mendes: Too Hot for Primetime TV

Eva Mendes has never had a problem with nudity. But it seems America’s TV networks do. Afraid of offending viewers, they have banned the actress’s new fragrance spot — though an edited version may air after 10 pm. In the moodily-shot 30-second black-and-white commercial for the Calvin Klein scent Secret Obsession, Mendes appears without clothes, sometimes swathed in a sheet. “Between love and madness lies obsession,” the actress and CK underwear model, who also appears in print ads for the perfume, seductively whispers. “Love… madness. It’s my secret.” But the ban may boomerang, creating more sales by word-of-mouth according to those close to the brand. International viewers will get to see the commercial as creative director Fabien Baron originally shot it — and you can make up your own mind about the commercial by watching the original here.

Lauren Conrad Reveals Her Style Secrets!

Matt Sayles/AP

We’re always up for hearing style tips, especially when they come from one of Hollywood’s hottest fashionistas. We caught up with Lauren Conrad at the VH1’s Rock Honors party recently, and while the reality star was mum about what’s next on The Hills, she did reveal her top style secrets to PEOPLE — starting with the very dress she wore to the event, an Elizabeth and James frock, created by fellow Hollywood designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. “Honestly, I just love the fit of all their stuff,” she says. And while L.C.’s known for her always put-together look, when it comes to that famous visage, “less is more with makeup,” she emphasizes. “I almost never wear eye shadow. I think I have some on today because I just came from a shoot.” And her face isn’t the only thing she likes to show off to its full advantage. “We’ve been spending all our time like by the pool,” she says — and always in a bikini. The development of her personal style extends beyond her closet to her fragrance wardrobe as well, moving past her seventh-grade obsession Ralph by Ralph to wearing “Like five different kinds. I usually wear Clive every day. Or Marc Jacobs. Or Dior.” Tell us: What are your own personal style secrets?
