Jamie-Lynn Sigler Launches Jewelry: “This is Not a Celebrity Line”

Chris Weeks/WireImage

Jamie-Lynn Sigler and partner Holly Freeman showed off their new jewelry line, CJ Free, last night at Switch Boutique in Beverly Hills just in time for the gift-giving season. “This is really still the beginning for us, but we want it out there for the holidays,” Sigler tells PEOPLE of the rose gold, white gold, and yellow gold collection, which the duo started working on in June. The line, named after Freeman’s 18-month old son, starts at $60 for beaded bracelets for men and goes up to $3500 for diamond-studded pieces like the rose-gold chunk pendant Sigler donned for the soiree. “When people wear jewelry they want it to have personal meanings sometimes, so we pride ourselves on being able to customize things the way you want it,“ explains Sigler, pointing out the various charms, stones, and beads that can be added to the pieces. The actress, who donned a black Mason ensemble from the boutique, insists her foray into the accessory world is no vanity project. “This is not a celebrity line. If anything, my name comes last. I definitely have my creative input, but this is our project together. This is real,” says Sigler, who sketches ideas for charms ranging from angels to baseball bats, the latter of which was inspired by her father. Also looking real: her rumored romance with Entourage co-star Jerry Ferrera, who showed up late and wrapped his arms around her and swayed to the tunes on the tented patio outside. Also in attendance were stars Stacey Keibler and Lance Bass, who told PEOPLE “I love it!” Click here to order select pieces at switchboutique.com. – Jenny Sundel

Jason Merritt/FilmMagic

Nicole Richie’s theory on accessorizing? “More is more,” she says. In keeping with her philosophy, on Friday the fashionista expanded the number of pieces in her jewelry collection, House of Harlow 1960, available at shopkitson.com. Richie, who collaborated with designer Pascal Mouawad to design the line, tells PEOPLE, “I love accessories. You can wear the same jeans and T-shirt every day and make it look completely different just by accessorizing.” Her favorite items from the African and Indian-inspired collection, whose prices range from $28-$250, are the headpieces. “I love having jewelry around my face,” she says. Jean Baptiste Lacroix/WireImage

What better way than to show off your new line than to wear it yourself? Nicole Richie took some pieces from her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry line for a spin this weekend, giving us a peek at the line with some heavy gold and lacquered bracelets, oversized cocktail ring and even her gold headband. “I’ve always felt that great accessories are essential in every complete outfit and I wanted to create a collection that was easy to mix and match; to either wear alone as an everyday piece, or stack on to make more of a statement,” Nicole said in a press release. House of Harlow 1960, which is scheduled to hit Kitson in early December, will be a 35 piece collection ranging in price from $50 to $250 and inspired by Nicole’s sought-after style. Teaming up with celeb jeweler Pascal Mouawad, Nicole’s line uses leather, silk strings, chains, rivets, gold plated metals, peacock feathers and jewel-tone colors to explore themes like bohemian, gypsy, tribal, flower child and edgy street wear. So far, we think House of Harlow 1960 perfectly reflects Nicole’s style. We can’t wait to get our hands on it! Tell us: What do you think of Nicole’s House of Harlow 1960 jewelry so far? Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon’s Charming Children’s Jewelry Collection

Landov

With 11-month-old twins at home, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon has plenty to keep her busy. But that hasn’t stopped her from staying creative by becoming the next star to try her hand at designing. At Monday’s Kevan Hall runway show in L.A., Garcelle talked to PEOPLE about her designs. “I have a jewelry line for kids and teenagers — or the young at heart,” she said, explaining that her collection will include charms hung from cords. “We have ballerinas. We have teddy bears. For boys we have cars and crowns,” she said. “So sort of fun and rock and roll, but still really cute pieces.” So why make the jump into jewelry design with her twins’ one year birthday just days away? “I wanted to do something creative even though I’m home as a mom. So this was something that I could sort of do, but still be with them.” Check back for more about the line, which will range in price from $40 to $300, when it launches in mid-November.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler Turns Jewelry Designer!

Landov

Jamie-Lynn Sigler is joining the ranks of other celeb designers and trying her hand at a jewelry line. The former Sopranos star and her friend Holly Freeman are teaming up to create a custom line of bangles and pendant necklaces ready for order at the begining of the year. “It’s a different creative outlet for me,” Jamie-Lynn told PEOPLE at Hollywood Life Magazine’s Hollywood Style Awards. “We love accessories; we love jewelry, so we’re having a lot of fun.” The line, which the friends bead themselves by hand, is made from gold, rose gold and white gold with custom charms or precious stones. They started the line while Jamie-Lynn spent a month living with Holly in L.A. “We would put the baby to sleep and we would just start beading and talking and we realized this would be a fun thing for us to do.” We can’t wait to see the final product. Tell us: Are you looking forward to Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s collection?
