Sarah Larson may be looking forward to spending time in Italy with George Clooney for furthering her modeling career, but she’s getting plenty of work in the U.S.A. already! Following her turn on the Ashley Paige runway, the beauty hit the catwalk for the Clark County Medical Society Alliance luncheon for The Shade Tree fundraiser that helps stranded homeless and abused women and children in crisis. As if her glam Pucci gowns weren’t enough, Larson also wore a Hearts on Fire 14-carat diamond necklace worth $200,000 and their 18-carat earrings worth a whopping $300,000. But note to Clooney — she also asked if the diamond line made rings as well. . .

In the past few months alone we’ve seen everyone from Lauren Conrad to Heidi Montag to Rachel Bilson — and even Matthew McConaughey and Luke Wilson — turn instant designer. And now Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester reveals that she might just be the next star to test out her design talents. “I love fashion, and sometimes I just feel like if I could only do and make whatever I wanted, it would make so much of a statement and really express who I am,” she says in an interview with NYLON. “So yes, in the future I would love to do a clothing label or work with a clothing label.” And while the star doesn’t have anything definite in the works just yet, it got us thinking about this celeb trend.
