Which Celeb Designer’s Line Will You Buy?

Lately, it’s felt like every star is hopping on the bandwagon to start their own clothing line — from Matthew McConaughey to Heidi Montag, the list is getting never ending. But several style icons tossed their names into the ring last week, and they’ve got us wondering whose line will be most successful in the end. Lindsay Lohan, who’s designing a line of leggings, is known for her casual cool and red carpet sex appeal, while Rachel Bilson (who’s teaming up with DKNY Jeans) has impeccable street style and understated evening looks. And Avril Lavigne, who will be designing a junior’s line for Kohl’s, has made her girly-punk mix unmistable. Now we want to know whose line you’d buy! Tell us and vote in our poll below.

None of these women are fashion icons, although Rachel Bilson is by far the best dressed out of these three. She’s classy (unlike Lohan), lady-like (unlike wannabe punkster Avril), and she actually has somewhat of a talent. Did she go to fashion school to learn how to properly make clothes? I highly doubt it. Will I be buying her line (or any of the other aforementioned ones?) Not in this lifetime. Anything for companies to make a buck nowadays, I guess.

Rachel always looks amazing! She’s very original and stands out from the crowd in a subtle way. I’d definitely buy from her line!

Oh God no, I would never buy anything of theirs! Not one of them has any real talent. I’ll wait to buy clothes from someone who actually has talent, instead of some Hollywood bimbo who can barely walk and talk at the same time.

None. Between the three, I like Rachel Bilson hands down. But I’ve never worn DKNY and I’m not going to go out of my way to do so just because she designed for them.

As for the other two, why in the world would anyone want to dress like them??

Lohan has no “style” of her own. Getting known after working with a mass stylist (i.e. Zoe), then getting to where she is now style-wise (i.e. trash-like), she has not earned the status of style icon. What would merit her the chance to design her line of anything fashion-related? Only the dollar.
