Would You Wear Ashlee Simpson’s Stockings?

We spotted Ashlee Simpson in sheer knee-highs paired with Converse sneakers last week, but we didn’t realize it was the beginning of a signature look for her! While in New York yesterday, the singer stepped out in two different pairs of stockings — knee-high with sneakers again while accompanying boyfriend Pete Wentz to a TRL taping, and then a pair of racy thigh-highs with her little black dress to Wentz’s birthday party at night. What do you think of Ashlee’s new look: Would you wear knee-highs and thigh-thighs like Ashlee? Do you like them on her?

I wouldn’t wear them as I don’t have the legs for that sort of thing. I think they look great on Ashley though! What a cute and fun way to be funky without being trashy.

I wouldnt wear them ever but Ashlee can absolutly pull them off, but I dont like the completly black look-it looks like she’s going to a funeral!

I love knee highs and when I was younger I would wear them. Ashely looks adorable! I’m just too old anymore.

We wore them in high school with our catholic skirts and they looked really cute. They’re not especially comfortable but there are worse trends out there. I just hope they don’t bring the bodysuit back– four years of shirt wedgies was enough for me.

they look styliish, but we already have so many things to keep up with we dont need sheer stockings to worry about

i don’t think you should wear them unless you are a girl scout, an actual catholic school girl, or they are attached to lingerie that you are wearing in the privacy of your home. i don’t think she looks bad, i just think knee highs are outdated and unnecessary, and like another poster said, uncomfortable.
