Scarlett Johansson Gives Some Love to Louis Vuitton

Scarlett Johansson has shown her affection for Louis Vuitton before, but Thursday night, she really showed the label her love! The star hosted a party at LV’s Fifth Avenue store in N.Y.C. to launch the new “LoVe” collection (we’ve already spotted Sienna Miller carrying one of the bags). Daniel Lalonde, the new president of the French luxury goods house told PEOPLE that “Love was the theme of the spring collection of Louis Vuitton, which, as Marc [Jacobs] said, You can’t spell Love without ‘LV.’” Awww. Sharing the love was fellow party-goer actress Alex Kingston who told PEOPLE that she is “so happy that Scarlett is the muse for Louis Vuitton. She’s curvy-figured, and it’s so nice that Louis Vuitton has honored her figure.” Downplaying her famous looks (and gorgeous Louis Vuitton frock), Scarlett joked “it took a couple of hours to get ready tonight. A little shellac and I’m good to go.”

Would You Wear Mischa Barton’s Sequined Pants?

The party may have been for celeb hairstylist Byron Williams’s new Beverly Hills salon, but the buzz was about Mischa Barton’s latest wacky ensemble. As if her Chanel booties, patchwork purse and glittering bolero vest weren’t enough of a style statement, the actress sported a pair of high-waisted sequined tapered pants. Mischa told PEOPLE, “Giambattista Valli gave me these pants from Iceberg. I did the Iceberg campaign in Paris and he designed them for me. I asked him for them so he gave them to me. I wanted a good night to wear them out so I thought Byron’s party would be great. This is my first time wearing them and I love them.” Well, we can’t say we second Mischa’s enthusiasm for the look, but we want to know what you think. Tell us: Do you like Mischa’s sequined pants? Would you ever wear them?

K-Fed Goes to the Derby: Our Hat Choices for Him

When you think of Kevin Federline, hanging out in clubs in Las Vegas seems like a pretty typical weekend — but not this weekend. K-Fed’s headed to the Kentucky Derby! He tells PEOPLE “it’s such a great tradition and I’m glad I can be a part of it!” Oh, we’re just glad to see the aspiring rapper put aside his sideways caps for a slightly more traditional hat — if it’s not too bold of us, we do have a few suggestions. Federline can go traditional with a classic gray derby hat, otherwise known as a bowler, or add a dash of color with a bold yellow derby. Or he could go the non-traditional with a snappy straw fedora, like this basket-weave one or this Jaxon style with feather detail. And now, off to the races!
