What’s Jennifer Hudson’s Red Carpet Personality?

Nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Dreamgirls, Jennifer Hudson is the Diva of this year’s award season.

Signature Look: Figure-hugging dresses with deep V-necklines and shimmering fabrics. Hudson’s hair is almost always wavy and loose, while her makeup tends toward berry lips and metallic shadows.

Favorite Designers: The star has designer-hopped, wearing Vera Wang, Donna Karan and Prada to recent events. Shoes are often by Stuart Weitzman, with diamonds by Neil Lane.

What She Will Wear: According to an article in Vogue written by editor-at-large Andre Leon Tally, who is styling the star, Hudson will most likely wear Oscar de la Renta.

I don’t care for the white number so much — with the long sleeves it looks sort of matronly — but I love the shimmering red dress at the end. She looks fabulous and well put together there.

Hot damn! If I had a body like that I would be showing it off too. Too tight!? Are you crazy? Some people just can’t see true beauty. She’s an inspiration to all. I love everything your doing. You could take a little risk though. Just not on Oscar night.

I would say her style is an effortless glamour. She knows her body and seems to be comfortable in her own skin. She is the old 50’s shapely sexy.
