Shopping Alert: Proenza Schouler for Target

Since starting their label Proenza Schouler (a combination of their mother’s maiden names) in 2002, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have made their mark on the fashion industry with their signature stitched bustiers and celebrity clients like Demi Moore and Scarlett Johansson. And now they are making their mark on our closets with their brand-new collection for Target, part of the same Go! International initiative that brought us Paul & Joe and Behnaz Sarafpour. The Purple Bustier Dress, $40, looks like it stepped off their runway, as does the Wild Dove Stripe Jacket, $45. Even though they don’t usually do purses, the Canvas Trapunto bag, $25 is wildly chic, and would go perfectly with the Palm Print cardigan, $35. Click here to see the whole line at Target.com.

Why isnt that palm print dress on the target website? Its the best thing in the collection!

astoreri

Yet another reason why we need target up here in Canada!!!!

Sara

I love that palm print dress, but I can’t find it anywhere on the website. It’s driving me crazy! I must have it!

S

They don’t add everything right away. Revisit in 2 weeks or so.

brandy

Wow! Those models sure are skinny! Quick, somebody feed them!

BC

I dont like either dress!

Crystal Beach girl

I don’t care for either dress myself but I’d love to see a Target store up here in Canada too! You Americans seem to have the best stores. Lucky!

Elda

The dresses are ok but I agree with Brandy because they do look kinda skinny.

Ainsley

I went to Target yesterday to check it out, and the stuff in the collection is really cute. The sizes are weird though.

Kimberly

I don’t care what you say about me, but no matter how cute, how inexpensive, I will NEVER be caught dead in something from Target!!! You will probably catch me in Abercrombie & Fitch instead.
