Beauty Obsession: John Masters Organics

John Masters, who works out of his airy, minimalist salon in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood has been the king of organic beauty since before it was cool,. Celebrities like Anne Hathaway and Rosario Dawson are huge fans of his products. I especially love his Honey & Hibiscus Hair Reconstructing shampoo and conditioner (as does Alicia Silverstone), which have saved my hair from the daily hairdryer torture I put it through. The scent is hard to describe–a little tangy and tart and grown-up, like the candles they’d burn at a little out-of-the-way spa you might stumble on while on vacation in Italy. Is anyone else loving an organic or all-natural hair product right now?Elizabeth Lamont

You can get John Masters at their website http://www.johnmasters.com, or at Whole Foods Market. Also, boutiques and hair salons carry the product around the country so you can call them to find out. I’ve been using his products for a couple months and it is hands down the best thing I have ever done for my hair!!!!!

dominique

I love John Masters Products. I also love Giovanni’s smooth as silk conditioner and the direct leave in conditioner. These are the most amazing product for course or dry and damaged hair.
