Hmm, a petite brunette star who is photographed all the time and makes as many headlines for her personal life as for her acting roles. . . could be either Eva Longoria or Lindsay Lohan, so it makes sense that they might share the same taste in clothes as well! Lindsay Lohan hit an L.A. club (water in hand) the other week wearing a sexy Dolce & Gabbana minidress, while Eva Longoria wore hers to open the big winter sale at Harrod’s in London. We think they both look pretty darn good in their minis, but you tell us: Who wears it better? Eva or Lindsay?

Were all these stars taking our advice on wearing sequined dresses for New Year’s Eve, or do stylish minds just think alike? From Rihanna’s disco-ball silver spangles to Vanessa Minnillo’s 24-karat Blugirl gown to Britney’s shimmering black uber-mini, the stars turned out in sparkling dresses from coast to coast. And they weren’t the only ones shimmering as they shimmied the night away — we spotted Hilary Duff, Fergie, Nicole Richie and more rocking in the New Year in sequined dresses. Looks like this is one trend that is sticking around for 2007. Tell us: What do you think of the star’s sequined dresses? Would you wear them?

John Masters, who works out of his airy, minimalist salon in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood has been the king of organic beauty since before it was cool,. Celebrities like Anne Hathaway and Rosario Dawson are huge fans of his products. I especially love his Honey & Hibiscus Hair Reconstructing shampoo and conditioner (as does Alicia Silverstone), which have saved my hair from the daily hairdryer torture I put it through. The scent is hard to describe–a little tangy and tart and grown-up, like the candles they’d burn at a little out-of-the-way spa you might stumble on while on vacation in Italy. Who knew there was such a thing as too beautiful? For her early scenes as Deena Jones in Dreamgirls, Beyonce Knowles, actually had to tone down her natural beauty. “Even though she just had a little mascara and lip gloss, she was just piercing through the screen,” says Francesca Tolot, Knowles’ makeup artist on the film. “So we had to take the mascara and lip gloss away and draw in some thick eyebrows to give her that young, ungroomed look.” Luckily for makeup addicts, Deena soon drops the natural look in favor of Dreamgirls fabulousness: Fake MAC eyelashes, lots of L’Oreal mascara and lipgloss, and straight up glitter in lieu of eyeshadow. “Diana Ross, Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren and Twiggy” were all inspirations, according to Tolot.
